Mr Litten will be writing a weekly newsletter, with the aim to share with you all that is good about our school and its children.

Dear Parents, pupils, and staff

Welcome to this week’s school newsletter, where we’re delighted to share the latest achievements, celebrations, and important updates from across our community.

Upon arrival, the children were welcomed by museum staff in full historical costume, instantly setting the tone for an authentic Roman adventure.

The workshops were designed to deepen their understanding of Roman Britain—an important part of their history curriculum—and to strengthen the knowledge gained in recent class lessons.

Roman Experience for Year 3

Last week, Year 3 pupils enjoyed an exciting and immersive day of learning as they travelled back nearly two thousand years during a visit to Peterborough Museum’s Roman History Workshops.

The trip brought their classroom work to life, offering rich opportunities to explore the everyday experiences, challenges and achievements of the Romans through practical, interactive activities.

Throughout the day, pupils rotated through a series of engaging stations where they could touch real and replica artefacts.

A huge thank you to the staff and volunteers who made this trip possible
