On 30th June, Park Lane held an all girls football festival
On Friday 17th March, we supported Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day campaign. This year’s theme was ‘Dress up for joy and make others smile' the children took part in activities to raise awareness and promote acts of kindness towards themselves as well as others.
9 children from Park Lane competed in the Fenland round of the county Bee netball festival.
Well done to year 3 pupils, They were invited in December with their local Whittlesey u8’s team to play in a football tournament at Manchester city. They played against various Man city acadamy teams. All goals were scored by all 3 park lane boys and they played brilliantly.
We attended a table tennis event on Friday organised by the Whittlesey Table Tennis Club. This was the first primary school event and plan to run this each year.
Park Lane, New Road and AJS attended the event with children from year 4, 5 and 6.
Park Lane, New Road, Coates and AJS attended the yearly Whittlesey Primary School Sports Quiz.
Chewbacca had a great time at the Halloween Discos this week!
As of Monday 31st October, the performing arts club will be taken over by Bridge In The Sky. A local film company ran by Mr Reid and Miss Gregory.
