Remembrance, courage, and service are in our hearts and minds this week. As a school we encourage all of our children to respect service men and women; and to be proud of our country’s history and values.
On Sunday 9th November , our school was proud to take part in Whittlesey’s Remembrance Sunday Parade. Staff and pupils joined the community to pay tribute to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

On 11th November a service of remembrance was held at St Mary’s Church, led by Father Andrew and Mr Litten. Our Year 5 and 6 pupils were very respectful and represented their schools and community with pride. Mr Williams also spoke thoughtfully during the service and supported the children as they laid their wreaths in memory of the fallen and read poems to mark the occasion.
Our pupils represented the school beautifully at both events and we are very proud of them. Thank you to all families who supported the event.
